Lisa finally said goodbye to the Mustang and picked herself up a sweet 2010 Ford Fusion. It's a nice car with all the bells and whistles for under $25K. I want to get that Sync system installed in my Ranger! That feature alone was worth it! Check out the pics!

We were awakened at 5 AM on Sunday morning by a sick puppy with blood on her hind fur. A trip down to the emergency vet to get her treated for what turned out to be a bad bladder infection, which apparently are common in diabetic dogs. She was put on antibiotics and was quickly feeling better until tonight. She had her first major seizure in quite a while which lasted for several minutes. We had thought we successfully switched her meds over the past few months but I guess not...

Its 3:00 PM and a sweltering 102 degrees in Mission Viejo. I would gladly take the 89 from the first "hot" day of the summer a few days back!

After a ridiculously cool year thus far, today was the first truly hot day of the summer. The high tempurature for the year had been 86.5 set all the way back on March 16th. It only took until July 13th to beat it, topping out at 88.8 at 2:19 PM. If the forecast holds, it should only last a day as the temp is supposed be rising through the weekend. We may see triple digits in Mission Viejo before its all said and done.
